Smashburger will open a new location in Manhattan Beach on June 9 and give away free burgers to the first 100 lunchtime customers.
The latest spot for the Colorado-based chain is at Manhattan Village at 3200 Sepulveda Blvd. It will open at 8 a.m. but start the classic Smashburger giveaway at noon.
Known for its burgers, which are smashed and seared on the grill to seal in flavor, the chain operates more than 200 restaurants in 36 states and eight countries.
The Manhattan Beach location will feature an exposed kitchen, 39 indoor seats and 22 patio seats as well as beach-themed artwork in a nod to the city.
Also on the menu are chicken sandwiches, turkey and black bean burgers, salads and milkshakes as well as breakfast items such as an egg and cheese sandwich and a Breakfast Smashburger topped with egg, bacon and aged cheddar on toasted brioche.
The new location will also offer free delivery for orders placed through Smashburger.com for the first 30 days of operation.
